Hey, scored a sweet sounding exhaust off my mates S3 wagon, is it gonna fit under my s2 sedan straight up or will it need to be cut and shut?

Its one piece from the manifold flange to the tip, following the curves its ~388cm long.

it should be a straight fit until you get to the diff, then it will be cut and shut for the last 1/2 metre

I like the removeable idea, might get a flange welded in and a new rear section made up.

its either 30cm or 50cm, i cant remember, but it has to be that distance past the last accessible door. so you may be able to drop it just before the diff.

i thought it would be pretty close up to the motor where it needs cutting and shutting

wagz floor plans and s3 floorplans are not that different to s2 sedan - arent they?

u can dump the exhaust but has to be by LAW behind the diff not infront. It dosent matter how far or how close it is as long as its not before the diff... thumbup

Is that correct, it can dump after the diff and still be legal? If so I've already got the exhaust sorted! quagmire

Yes tom it is true you can dump it after the diff, the problem is that it gets super doomie when the motor is just crusing but if you can handle that then its all good. burnrubber burnrubber
