S13 CA (teardrop) rims
«

does anybody know if theres any overheating brake issues with these rims?
i was recently told that because they are an enclosed type rim that overheating of the brakes may occur under heavy use (which may occur with me driving
).

marty i dont believe there to be any issue
they cant be any worse than a standard trx rim or a stockie on any other car
you could argue that the shape of the tears created pressure differences moving the air or have an advantage in wet weather by resucing water spray and heeping the brakes hotter
but its all bullshit for a street car
