ca20? box mounts are different to L20B, so now i have to get another mount made up to fit the box.
also have to cut the shifter hole bigger in the floorpan,
and it may also mean that i have to alter the centre console (fingers crossed that i don't)
i also noticed that the engine sits back about 7mm-10mm further back, so it could become a problem further down the track.

Spent most of the day at the FV Hospital as my mate passed blood & had severe stomach pains this morning. His wife put him in hospital & they operated at 1:00pm (to remove a small kidney stone) only after asking for Aud $2000.00 up front. Then they wouldn't let him out, after he came out of recovery, until he paid the remaining Aud $2000.00. He will get it back on travel insurance but the inconvenience & stress of it was unbelievable!
The message to always take out travel insurance is a good one - and have a whack of cash in reserve, just in case!
If that wasn't bad enough, their plane leaves @ 9:10pm & they raced off in a cab, hoping to get on board it! If they turn up back at our hotel later, they didn't.
I am getting closer to a drinking problem...but at least it is cheap here! Lol. And I miss my BB. sm_cry

At the driftday last saturday I parked my Celica in some thick bush after running to wide.
The rear right quarterpanel is damaged badly now..

That dont really pissed me off, because that's just one of the risks you take when you go on the track.
What does pisses me off is the fact that I had a camera running mounted on the rear spoiler but the crash isnt filmed because the memorystick ran out of memory!  Angry

that (on average) there is %25 percent more people that are pissed off ever since this site has been running, then people that are happy. (going off how many posts in pissed off today and happy today threads)

I picked up my trailing arms with the bigger shafts installed but its now 8mm wider on each side so the calipers won't bolt on.
I'll need to see if r30 discs and calipers will fit.

1 another thing to piss me off - so much for the new years resolution for not being grumpy

2 Finalisation for my gas bill in qld has still not been done

i filled in the "are you moving" emil performa for Origin energy to disconnect my gas last year.
we did this because it was taking far to long to lodge a request and was recommended doing it online...
was advised that because i live in QLD it will take 6 business days to get the final reading
everywhere else its up to 3 days
these are business days...
left qld with the faith that they will give me a final reading the 2 weeks after i had left.
recieved a conformation email showing my amended details, former address and new address.
contacted 2 weeks into janurary via email to see if it has been finalised (calling takes over 40 mins - and by the time i have been left on hold that long i go mental at anyone who answers the phone)
received email 6 days (business) stating that they sent it to my old address ( :whack:
asked to reissue the bill
bill was recieved 2 days after the original due date
emailed back and said wtf fix it its your stuff up - no i cant you need to do this because i'm a lazy speaking english as my second language stinky bitch. meanwhile received an "overdue notice" to the amended address - wow they are good!
on the hour long drive to work i called the "hotline" number and took 40 mins to speak to a person and informed her of the overdue bill and i'm not paying for their cock up.
said she will issue a new bill - no bill recieved as yet and its been 2 weeks so i paid the original amount due with no overdue and i'm not paying anything else.
they wont respond to emails and wont return my calls.
they have mispelt my name with a f instead of an s despite raving calls to fix it which they have not.

origin energy...

FUCK YOU!!!

Sympathy with you Dan. If we all could, wouldn't it be great to refuse to deal with companies who send their billing & help desk off shore and refuse loud & clear before they connect anything for us or sell us a phone contract or just basically try to go about their daily jobs?
The second and third rate service we are getting from overseas sections is just not acceptable any more & we all have to make it known.
I had a question for Optus yesterday...same deal but I asked the operator to advise her supervisor that the service is not acceptable. Whether or not she did, who knows? Last time I did this, I was called back 1 day later with a "Please advise how we can improve our service" question. I said to get our help desk staff back on shore - I was told they are..in Melbourne - but the ethnic I was speaking to earlier needed to be fluent in several languages & that's why I thought they were off shore!! Oops! My bad. Egg on my face, again!
Maybe there should be a number provided to speak to an Australia with all the other bs help desk numbers.
No more ranting.

new day new rant

have to stay back at work tonight to about 1am because of a gay meeting

already it has been expressed that my interpretation of a principle is incorrect (where it is not) and an application to which i have to present (because of a tiny setback dispensation) will get picked apart and refused

which means i'll have to go to court again over nothing

where it will be overturned...

its hard knowing that at about 8pm tonigh i'm going to be drilled fried and humiliated by two people who failed at state politics and are just being arses because they have no other way to inflate their own aggressive egos, infront of my peers, other staff, the applicant and general members of the public.

the thing that pissed me off lately can be summed up in one word CENTRELINK
i had to apply for sickness benefits because im off work until i have my hernia operation, and my boss wasnt willing to let me keep working because it might have made it worse.
so i got all my forms and paperwork and took it down to get approved, apart from having the wrong address on my license, she said it was all good once i show them my license with current address, did that went back and showed them the newly attached address label.
after she typed whatever it is on there computer (im sure it was something like I AM A KNOB (only a guess) she said they'll get back to me if they need anything else.
i asked "how long till i get payment"
she said "could be around the 25th of march for it to get finalised"
i pointed out that my bank statement had $5.05 in there and need to have cash and i go back to work at the end of march
her response "well you could be lucky and it will be sooner"
