For many years, I've only had the interior fan work at 'high' but not at any other settings. This didn't worry me as I had a spare fan speed controller kit from Jaycar, and wired it into a cassette box that fits in one of the bays.

The problem now is that the switch seems to be dying - most of the time now it stays open circuit, but if I jiggle it just a bit to the left of max (like half a click) it'll work again for a while. I've verified that it's not the speed controller box causing the problem as it's the same when I connect the fan directly to the original fitting.

I'm guessing I'll need to start taking things apart to fix it, or modify my fan speed kit to run direct from the convenient battery to inverter wire.
