Have people used LCA's from other cars to get themselves some more camber? Just wondering what fits and roughly how much they give you cheers

diferent front lower control arms i take it if your changeing camber angles, S13 silvia front lower arms work they are a bit longer give a bit more camber and a bit more track, but a few members just cut and shut there fron lower arms and extend them for more camber hope that helps. welcome to the forum BTW alex

Thanks Seb
Are s13s a straight bolt in thing? Do you know how much longer they are?
I don't really like the idea of cutting and shutting that kind of thing!

s13 run a different radius rod mount. The spacing is wrong on the s13 control arm, that'll have to be redrilled to suit a bluebird one.

Finally got around to do the s13 lca swap, only because i snapped a radius rod. Looks like it really aint worth the hassle, s14 would be much better . It is pretty straight forward, i hope. Im taking the punt that r31 radius rods will bolt straight in and make everything work. Ill get back to yous.

R31 radius rods worked and gave a small castor increase.
s14/s15 another option, slightly longer again over the s13 arms.
Or for the insane, r30 which are 60mm longer than s13..

So an s13 lca bolts to a bluebird crossmember without mods? just needs different (ie. r31) radius/castor rods?
Does anyone know how much longer a s13 lca is? and the difference between s13/s14/s15 lca?
Am I reading this right, s13/s14/s15 lca + r31 radius rods = improved castor and camber and bolts straight up?
anyone got specific camber/castor figures?

one thing to think about is whether your having adjustable strut tops as well. I added 30mm to the control arms which was OK but then I fitted adjustable tops as well. I could of just used the strut tops to get the adjustment I wanted. (I do run smaller diameter springs similar to coilovers) After I damaged one of the arms late last year I went back to standard control arms and I still have all the camber I want. as for the length mine was 10mm= 1 degree, Although my control arm angle is steeper than yours len as my car sits higher off the ground

Thanks guys for the advice on the cut and shut method. I'm a bit hesitant to do it this way, worried about strength and legalities etc for the road. Have either of you had any drama's regarding strength?
Anyone used the s13/14/15 LCA's and R31 radius rods?

Anything that holds together in a rally car is super strong, Road and track cars have it easy compaired to rally cars. on the road its a problem if the police notice the camber. but even if you fit other LCA's you still need a engineer's certificate. so WTF.
